* Other: Full-time, Exempt position (not eligible for overtime pay)

 

 

Position Summary: 

 

Responsibilities include various activities in the areas of Accounting, Finance and translation activities for various Aisin companies. These include daily, monthly or quarterly activities such as:

* General Ledger Posting

* General Ledger Account Reconciliation

* Accounts Payable

* Fixed Asset Accounting

* Daily/Monthly Bank Account Reconciliation

* Travel & Entertainment Expense Reporting System Management

* Accounts Receivable

* Improvement Activities

 
 
Position Responsibilities

 

The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:
* Accounts Payable: invoice entry, validation, payments and research 

* Month-end and quarterly close activities including

o account reconciliations

o journal entry preparations and postings

o account analysis

o financial analysis

* Other General Ledger accounting and control functions 

* Inter-company accounts receivable and accounts payable

* Perform inter-company reconciliations and analysis

* Assist with quarterly review and year-end financial audit 

* Process improvement activities

* Other tasks and duties, as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

 

Essential Skills and Experience:

* Communicate effectively to Aisin Management Members

* 0-2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance 

* Ability to understand standard accounting systems

* Proficiency in MS Excel

* Ability to pay strict attention to details, effectively communicate with stakeholders and to organize and complete tasks on time

 

 

Beneficial Skills and Experience:

* Oracle Enterprise Business Solution experience 

 

 

Education/Training/Certifications

* Bachelor degree in Accounting from an accredited university 

* Excellent written and oral language skills 

 

 

Work Environment Requirements

* Must be able to operate a personal computer, telephone and other office equipment.

* Must perform job duties onsite, except those duties that are customarily or by their nature performed offsite (for example, offsite customer visits).

* Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment where constructive criticism is encouraged.

* Must be able to work on multiple assignments at once, and complete assignments within deadline and budget (if applicable) with satisfactory quality.

* Must be able to operate as an effective team member.

* Must be committed to a high standard of safety, and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all company safety policies.

 

 

Attendance/Work Hour Requirements

* Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.

* Must be willing and available to work such weekends and holidays as necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
